A Norwegian cruise ship with a Bahamas flag, carrying 206 passengers and crew, has grounded in northwestern Greenland. Fortunately, no one on board is in danger, and no damage has been reported. The ship, named Ocean Explorer, ran aground in Alpefjord within the Northeast Greenland National Park. Danish authorities are monitoring the situation, and a Danish navy ship is en route to assist. There is currently no immediate danger to human life or the environment, but the incident is being taken very seriously. The ship may potentially free itself when the tide is high. The Joint Arctic Command is overseeing the situation to ensure the safety of all involved.
